The success story of a woman that went through 17 IVF to conceive now has triplet

Joanne suffered 4 miscarriages in her first marriage, she couldn't conceive naturally, the now mother of 4 tells her struggles & determination to have her own children.

She said "it wasn't easy for me at all to bear my own children even with IVF treatment, I undergo 17 IVF which cost £70,000 just to have my own kids. At a point my friends told me to stop before I go bankrupt, I didn't listen I continued to hope and believe one day I will be successful.

Joanne first marriage ended because she wasn't able conceive
In her words : I did consider adoption but in many ways the process for that seemed just as difficult and invasive, I saw my friends falling pregnant and starting a family, I was happy for them and kept hoping for mine

"Even though I was single, I was aware of my age - and thought I might not meet another man I want to have a family with."

Although Joanne remained resilient and positive, she had by now stopped telling her parents when she was going through a round of IVF.

"They got upset at each failure, so I kept it to myself - especially when I was single.

"They were so worried for me when my sister got pregnant, but I was happy for her more than anything."
Joanne was introduced to a online fertility community were she was supported, it wasn't until a friend ask Joanne to join her on a holiday trip where she met her second husband.
According to her she said ; "I was honest with him from the start, saying 'if you do want a family I might not be able to provide you with that'.

"He said he loved me no matter what."

To her delight, and on her first attempt with Neil, Joanne fell pregnant with daughter Pippa - at age 40
. Although the pregnancy didn't go smoothly she managed to deliver her child in 2012 which was a girl
In her words we tried four more IVF that ended in early miscarriages, I and my husband decided to stop because it was telling on our finances and we have planned to buy a house.

According to Joanne the 17th IVF was her last attempt when she discovered she was pregnant with triplet boys who are now 8 month old.
This is the success story of Joanne.
