The U.S vows to help Nigeria resolve Boko haram issue but won't sell weapons to attack the islamic group 

According to the meeting held in the white house president barrack Obama and the Congress Men of the United State pledges to support Nigeria in eradicating Boko haram out of the country but has refuse to sell high tech weapons to Nigeria

According to the U.S Nigeria falls short of Human rights issue, they said our arms are  tied by an American law, the Leahy Act, which prevents it from selling arms to countries with human rights abuse records.

 The president said if not for the Human rights issue Nigeria are short of we would have been able to acquire the necessary weapons needed to eradicate Boko haram from the our nation.

Bringing an end to Boko haram remains the top priority of the administration the Buhari's government.

He pleads that the U.S government and congress men should find a way  around the law — introduced by Senator Patrick Leahy in 1997 — and to supply Nigerian troops with high-tech weapons under a deal “with minimal strings.”
